Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor in Engineering or similar technical field with 5–8 years of experience in high-volume production.
Medical device manufacturing knowledge, especially catheter production, preferred.
Proficient in CAD software and statistical methods; familiar with GMP ISO13485 and medical device directives.

Responsibilities

Set up automation of manufacturing processes to govern production and delivery of products.
Streamline manufacturing processes to maximize productivity while maintaining quality and complying with protocols.
Design fixtures, tools, and jigs for new lines or products and improve processes to reduce human intervention and maximise efficiency.
Identify new opportunities for automation within manufacturing, develop documentation, and design equipment or tools.
Write reports detailing new concepts, testing outcomes, and ongoing efficiency improvements.
Troubleshoot automated processes and equipment when errors occur.
Oversee validations and equipment qualifications; ensure regulatory compliance (GMP/ISO13485).
Maintain Health & Safety within assigned areas, investigate accidents, and implement corrective actions.
Able to travel for onsite training and adapt to rotating shifts as required.
