General Summary:

The Equipment Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This role involves ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of equipment to support production goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.

Equipment Maintenance
Perform regular preventive maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure high uptime and reliability.
Troubleshooting
Diagnose and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
Process Improvement
Collaborate with process engineers to identify and implement equipment modifications and upgrades to improve performance and yield.
Documentation
Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and repair work.
Training
Provide training and support to production staff on proper equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
Safety Compliance
Ensure all equipment and maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Vendor Management
Coordinate with equipment suppliers for parts, service, and technical support.

Qualification

Education

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
0-2 years of experience in equipment engineering within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing semiconductor manufacturing
equipment. - Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices. - Familiarity with equipment control systems and software.
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualification

Preferred Experience
Experience with specific semiconductor equipment (e.g., Auto-Optical Inspection, Plasma Etching, Wet module, Back-grinding, Laminator, Tape and Reel).
Certifications
Certification in equipment maintenance or reliability engineering.
Additional Knowledge
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.


Working Conditions
- This position may require standing for extended periods and working in cleanroom environments.

- Availability for on-call support and occasional overtime may be required.
