Job summary

EDP APAC, the Singapore-based subsidiary of EDP Group, is seeking a Project Engineer to manage construction of assigned projects from start to COD, ensuring schedule, cost, and HSE compliance. You will support planning, coordinate site activities and supervise contractors and stakeholders across markets.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering and at least two years in EPC, energy, power, or construction, with renewable energy exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
• At least 2 years of working experience in EPC, Energy, Power or Construction.
• Prior renewable energy or construction industry experience, particularly solar preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and PV system components; communicate clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Proactive, independent and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability.
• Proven track record of managing stakeholder relationships and communicating across project teams.
• Good project management skills with the ability to report progress and issues clearly.
• Confident in presenting to and engaging customers while handling multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in project planning, progress tracking and reporting.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise site activities to ensure design, quality and safety compliance.
• Monitor schedules and budgets and raise deviations promptly.
• Review drawings, specifications and construction methodologies for accuracy and constructability.
• Address technical queries related to design, system performance and installation.
• Prepare submissions, site reports and maintain accurate project records.
• Manage contractors and third-party providers to deliver works on schedule and to standard.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify workflow gaps and recommend practical improvements to enhance efficiency.
