Job Descriptions:
- Perform the role of Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) and Fire Safety Manager (FSM)
- Provide EHS subject matter advice to line functions on all EHS matters
- Assist line functions and EHS Manager in accident/incident investigation and root cause identification for prevention
- Provide subject matter advice on EHS programs such as Permit To Work, Risk Management and Fire Safety
- Carry out periodic EHS Inspections/Audits, including inspections at clients’ sites.
- Review and upgrade risk assessments, procedures and other related EHS documents
- Drive the deployment of Veolia Environmental, Health & Safety corporate standards and programs
- Maintain and update ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certifications
- Perform monthly compilation of EHS Performance indicators and incident / accident statistics
- Conduct EHS training for employees and contractors.
- Monitor and control EHS-related permits and licenses to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements
- Assist line leadership to drive the behavioral based safety program and improvement in hazard and near miss reporting
- Carry out occupational hygiene assessments as necessary to evaluate and control personnel exposure
- Any other task assigned by management

Job Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years in a full-time EHS role
- Minimum Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH)
- Fire Safety Manager qualification
- Working experience in oil / petrochemical / pharmaceutical industry and knowledge of process safety will be advantageous
- Ability to conduct and design training materials in Mandarin to support business needs, where required.

- Incumbents must be willing to work in Tuas South vicinity.
