We are hiring for an Environmental Health and Safety Engineer to join our Micron Backend Singapore team!

Responsibilities And Tasks

1. Ensure Micron's safety programs and procedures are effective, efficient, and conform to the Management System and regulatory requirements.
2. Develop and implement functional, cost-effective solutions for safety issues.
3. Coordinate, manage, and conduct safety walks, inspections, and audits to ensure operations comply with Micron safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
4. Respond to emergencies and investigate incidents, recommending preventive/corrective action.
5. Collect, analyze, and communicate safety-related metrics and performance measurements.
6. Support ISO System by participating in internal audits to continuously improve our safety program and procedures.
7. Identify, develop, and provide safety training in accordance with company goals and objectives.

Education & Qualifications

1. Bachelor's in occupational health and safety or related field in Engineering.
2. Experience in EHS is preferred.
3. Safety and Health Certifications are preferred, e.g., Certified Safety Professional, ISO auditor training and certification.
4. Experience with ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems.
5. Ability to read and develop understanding and interpretation of safety regulations.
6. Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration.
7. At least 2 years of involvement in CCA, preferably in leadership roles.
8. Keen interest in semiconductor engineering.
