Job summary

GREENMARK CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking an Environmental Control Officer to work on on-site environmental issues across construction projects.

You will collaborate with the project team to monitor noise, emissions, water and air pollution, waste management, and disease prevention measures, ensuring on-site compliance with regulations. The role requires ECO/ECMO registrations, a degree or diploma, and at least five years of construction experience.

Qualifications

• Must be registered ECO with NEA.
• Must be registered as ECMO under IES.
• Minimum Degree or Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 5 Years of working experience in the building construction field.
• Work well under pressure and work independently Environmental control officer.

Responsibilities

• Work with project team on environmental issues on site and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Implement and monitor environmental control programs on site.
• Prepare, submit statutory reports and maintain documentation for public health requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and actively participate in environmental matters on site.
• Enforce all environmental requirements and in-house rules and regulations.
• Attend site and client meetings and prepare weekly reports.
• Liaise with government authorities regarding safety and environment compliance.

• Work closely with the project team on environmental issues such as noise monitoring, pollution, vector control, air pollution, water pollution and drainage, prevention & control of infectious diseases, food hygiene, solid waste management, chemical storage & disposal, and haze response procedure. Ensure compliance with the latest environmental regulations.
• Implement and monitor environmental control programs on site.
• Prepare, submit statutory reports, and maintain documentation for environmental public health requirements on environmental issues.
• Conduct regular inspections and actively be involved in environmental matters on site.
• Enforces all environmental requirements and in-house rules and regulations
• Attend site meetings/ client meetings and prepare weekly reports.
