Qualifications

  • Implement and oversee environmental health systems on-site.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with NEA and ECMO standards.
  • Submit and maintain the Site Environmental Control Programme.

Job description

Join one of Singapore’s leading construction and civil engineering firms with decades of experience delivering large-scale residential, commercial, and public infrastructure projects. The company is known for its strong safety culture, high standards of project execution, and commitment to sustainable construction practices.

Working Days: 5.5 days/week
Worksite Location: Mainly EAST region

Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Environmental, Civil, or Construction-related fields from a recognized institution

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in the construction industry (HDB project background preferred)

  • Registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with NEA

  • Certified in Earth Control Measures (ECMO) by the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Able to work 5.5 days per week and travel to various project sites (mostly in the East)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Implement and oversee environmental health systems on-site, including earth control measures, vector control, and waste management

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with NEA and ECMO standards

  • Submit and maintain the Site Environmental Control Programme and prepare fortnightly reports

  • Identify and manage site risks such as mosquito breeding, poor drainage, air/dust pollution, and poor housekeeping

  • Liaise with contractors and relevant stakeholders to ensure prompt rectification of environmental issues

  • Promote environmental awareness through toolbox talks, site campaigns, and training

  • Support investigations by authorities in cases of vector-borne or environmental incidents

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by site or project management
