Zusammenfassung

DxD Hub is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join its Integrated Medical Technology team in Singapore. You will design, prototype, and validate mechanical subsystems and enclosures for new diagnostic platforms, taking ownership of hands-on prototyping and test execution to translate ideas into robust, market-ready devices.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, or related discipline.
• 0–3 years of hands-on experience including academic projects, internships, or research labs.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software for part and assembly design.
• Familiarity with 3D printing, CNC machining, and injection moulding considerations.
• Basic understanding of mechanical testing, material selection, and lab safety practices.
• Ability to translate test results into actionable engineering insights and clear documentation.
• Strong documentation and communication skills; proactive and detail oriented.
• Experience with FEA simulation tools or GD&T is an advantage.
• Exposure to Python or MATLAB for data processing and test automation is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Design and iterate mechanical components, enclosures, jigs, and fixtures for diagnostic device prototypes using CAD tools.
• Coordinate with fabrication vendors and internal workshops for 3D printing, machining, and moulding.
• Develop and execute mechanical test protocols including dimensional inspection and durability testing.
• Process and document test results with engineering reports for design history files.
• Assist in tolerance analysis, assembly studies, and design-for-manufacture reviews.
• Create mechanical drawings, BOMs, and assembly documentation with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in design reviews and troubleshooting sessions.
• Supervise and guide interns on mechanical tasks and review their outputs.
• Maintain lab documentation and data management per design control principles (ISO 13485).
• Prepare prototype performance summaries and present data analyses to the team.
