Job summary

HEGURU is hiring Assistant Teachers in Singapore to join a dynamic early childhood education team. You will be trained and certified by our Japan Headquarters, with a clear path to Main Teacher within 6-8 months and no teaching experience is required.

Starting pay is SGD 2,400–2,600 per month with sponsored training; after probation you can advance to Main Teacher earning SGD 3,000–3,500 with additional incentives, annual leave, and opportunities for overseas training as the center grows.

• No teaching experience required; entry-level candidates welcome.
• Interest in early childhood education and child development.
• Willingness to train and obtain certification through HQ in Japan.

• Conduct brain development lessons for ages 0–12.
• Track and support each child's progress.
• Prepare lesson materials and assist daily centre operations.
• Participate in ongoing training.

Job description

Start as an Assistant Teacher, get trained and certified by our Japan Headquarters, and move up to Main Teacher within 6-8 months. No teaching experience needed.

Your pay and progression

• Start as an Assistant Teacher at $2400-$2600 with fully sponsored training

• 6-8 months: certified Main Teacher at $3,000-$3,500. Sponsored Japan training once you pass probation successfully

• As a Main Teacher: lesson token incentives, guaranteed increments, performance bonus and completion bonus

• Further growth into senior teaching, leadership and management roles as we expand

Your schedule (5 days, about 40 hours a week)

• Wednesday: 9:00am-6:00pm

• Thursday to Friday: 9:30am-6:00pm

• Saturday and Sunday: 8:30am-6:00pm (Weekend availability is required)

• Monday, Tuesday and most public holidays off

What you'll do

• Conduct brain development lessons for children aged 0-12

• Take part in ongoing training

You might be

• An entry level candidate, career switcher, or student in early childhood or education

• Someone with a music, dance or performing arts background

• Comfortable singing, moving and kneeling at children's level

• Positive, energetic and keen to learn
