Job summary

Mondrian in Singapore is seeking an Entertainment Manager to lead the day-to-day management of performers and orchestrate events from planning through final execution. You will work closely with artists to ensure top-notch performances and handle contract negotiations and related legal matters affecting clients’ careers.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of performers, musicians and entertainers and ensure they are well prepared for performances.

• Coordinate with vendors to ensure services are provided as agreed and within budget.
• Oversee all event operations including rehearsals, performances, and technical elements.
• Lead marketing efforts for events, including promotional campaigns and collaborations with marketing teams.
• Manage budgets and collaborate with event planners and designers to deliver events within budget guidelines.
• Evaluate event success using metrics like ticket sales, attendance, and customer satisfaction.
• Handle tasks related to event planning such as venue selection and decorating.

What do we expect of you?

Reporting into the Director of Food & Beverages, you ensure that Mondrian guests have exceptional entertainment experiences. You are responsible for the day-to-day management of performers, musicians, and other entertainers and works closely with these artists to ensure that they are well prepared for their performances and appearances. The Entertainment Manager is also required to be involved in negotiating contracts and other legal matters related to their clients' careers. In addition to managing individual artists, the entertainment managers is required to manage entire groups or bands.

How your day looks:

• Managing and overseeing all aspects of an event, from start to finish
• Negotiating contracts with talent, production companies, and other industry professionals to secure performers for events
• Coordinating with vendors to ensure that all services are provided as agreed upon and within budget
• Making sure that all operations run smoothly, including scheduling rehearsals and performances and making sure that all technical elements are working properly
• Overseeing marketing efforts such as creating advertisements or organizing promotional events
• Coordinating with marketing departments to develop and implement marketing strategies that reach target audiences through all channels,including print and digital advertising, social media campaigns, live events, and public relations campaigns
• Managing the budget and working with event planners, designers, and other professionals to create an event that is within the budget guidelines
• Evaluating the success of an event based on factors such as ticket sales, attendance levels, and customer satisfaction levels
• Handling tasks related to event planning, such as selecting a venue, hiring performers, coordinating catering services with caterers, and selecting decorations and other event elements
