Job Description
We are re-imagining correspondent banking for low-value transactions. We’re seeking an ambitious, hands-on, and independent Sales Director passionate about the Wise mission. You will join the Wise Platform team to deliver world-class payment solutions to our partners and their customers, powered by Wise infrastructure.

Banks, Fintechs, and large enterprises utilize Wise Platform to build cross-border money movement solutions, including clients like Mandiri, Shinhan Bank, and Morgan Stanley. Currently, over 80 global banks and platforms are connected and powered by Wise Platform. The platform enables financial institutions to leverage Wise’s direct connections to instant clearing schemes, significantly improving their correspondent banking infrastructure, reducing operational costs, and enhancing speed and efficiency. We are looking for a commercially-minded self-starter to scale our correspondent banking sales in APAC, aiming to improve cross-border remittance experiences in the region.

A Bit About The Role
The position is based in our Singapore office. You will collaborate closely with the Regional APAC and Global Wise Platform teams worldwide, as well as other functions like product management, compliance & legal, implementation, and engineering. As an individual contributor, you will develop and advance a pipeline of target financial institutions and close impactful deals, managing a key growth vertical within Wise Platform.

Your Mission

  • Grow Wise Platform’s correspondent banking volume share with regional banks in APAC.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of financial institutions, overseeing the entire sales process.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to define the value proposition and commercial model for Wise Platform’s correspondent banking solutions in APAC.

Qualifications

  • Experience selling correspondent banking services to financial institutions, from sourcing to go-live, with demonstrable examples.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to independently source deals within APAC regional banks to generate a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Hands-on approach—comfortable leading discussions and supporting the business development team.
  • Collaborative mindset—experienced working across teams to execute vertical sales strategies.
  • Analytical skills—data-driven in prioritizing and sizing opportunities.
  • Mission-driven and customer-focused—seeking partnerships that benefit clients and align with Wise’s mission.

Extra Skills That Would Be Awesome

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments.
  • Understanding of SWIFT operations in the correspondent banking sector.
