Job summary

Singapore Institute of Technology seeks an experienced enterprise risk management professional to lead and strengthen the University’s ERM programme. You will work with senior management and stakeholders across the University to embed risk-informed decision-making and resilient strategic and operational processes.

You will provide clear risk insights to support management and governance committees, drive risk governance, and foster a positive risk culture through briefs, workshops and capability

Qualifications

• University degree required with focus on risk management.
• 8–10 years in enterprise risk management or related field.
• Postgraduate qualification or professional certification is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of ERM frameworks, risk appetite, indicators and reporting.
• Excellent writing, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and enhancement of the ERM framework, policies and reporting standards.
• Drive risk review cycles, maintain risk registers, appetite statements, and dashboards.
• Identify emerging risks from internal/external developments affecting the University.
• Assess risks of new programmes and third-party engagements and propose controls.
• Synthesize complex information into clear risk insights for governance forums.
• Partner with academic and corporate stakeholders to facilitate risk discussions.
• Deliver briefings, workshops, and capability-building to promote risk culture.
• Support auditors, consultants, and government agencies on risk and compliance.
• Integrate ERM with business continuity, crisis preparedness and performance monitoring.
• Lead or support secretariat duties for key management committees.
