Job summary

NEWTONE CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to manage and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure in a mission-critical environment. Responsibilities include managing servers and virtualization platforms, supporting disaster recovery, and ensuring compliance with security standards. Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science or IT and 3-5 years of experience with technologies such as Windows Server, RHEL, and VMware. Familiarity with OpenShift and ITIL processes is a plus.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in infrastructure administration and support.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, RHEL, VMware, and enterprise hardware.
Experience with backup/recovery tools, firewalls, storage systems, and monitoring platforms.
Familiarity with OpenShift/Kubernetes, Ansible, GitLab, Grafana, and Prometheus is an advantage.
Understanding of ITIL processes including incident, change, and problem management.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain enterprise infrastructure including Windows Server, RHEL, VMware, storage, firewalls, and backup systems.
Perform system installation, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
Support infrastructure security hardening and compliance based on standards.
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues across environments.
Support disaster recovery, backup, and replication activities.
Maintain documentation, SOPs, system diagrams, and operational reports.
Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
