Job summary

OCBC Group in Singapore seeks an Enterprise Data & AI Platform Engineer to manage and optimize hybrid cloud data platforms, including CDP, CML, Hadoop, and Spark, across AWS and on-premises infrastructure.

You will upgrade platforms, patch vulnerabilities, and harden systems, while supporting containerized workloads on Kubernetes/OpenShift and AWS EKS. Strong scripting and collaboration with AI/ML and Security teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in banking/FS environment.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C++ and strong Git/version control.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support CDP, CML, Hadoop, and Spark across AWS and on-premises.
• Manage platform upgrades, security patching, vulnerability remediation, and hardening.
• Support containerized platforms on Kubernetes, OpenShift, and AWS EKS for high availability.
• Monitor and optimize Data Analytics, AI/ML, and Generative AI platforms including AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, EMR, S3.
• Automate operations using Shell/Python scripting and collaborate with Security and SRE teams.
