Job description

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Architect to drive the technology strategy and ensure the seamless alignment of the IT landscape with business objective - to lead the development and evolution of our enterprise architecture across all domains: Infrastructure, Applications, Data, and Security.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Architectural Leadership:

  • Define, maintain, and evolve the enterprise architecture strategy, principles, standards, and guidelines, ensuring alignment with the company's business strategy and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the development of future-state architectural blueprints and roadmaps across Infrastructure, Applications, Data, and Security domains.
  • Provide architectural oversight and guidance for major programs and projects, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and strategic direction.

End-to-End Domain Architecture:

  • Infrastructure Architecture: Design and govern the enterprise infrastructure landscape, including on-premise, cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), network, compute, storage, and virtualization technologies.
  • Application Architecture: Define the application portfolio strategy, including integration patterns, microservices, API management, and technology selection for core banking, trading, risk management, and other FSI-specific applications.
  • Data Architecture: Establish data governance frameworks, data modeling standards, data integration strategies, and data warehousing/analytics architectures to support business intelligence and regulatory reporting.
  • Security Architecture: Develop and enforce security architecture principles and patterns, ensuring robust cybersecurity defenses, compliance with data privacy regulations, and secure application development practices.

Framework Implementation & Governance:

  • Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of architectural methodologies and frameworks, with a strong emphasis on TOGAF.
  • Establish and lead architectural governance processes, including architectural review boards, to ensure consistent application of architectural principles and standards across the enterprise.
  • Maintain and update architectural documentation, including architectural decisions, patterns, and reference architectures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a dedicated Enterprise Architect role within the Financial Services industry (Banking, Insurance, Asset Management, Capital Markets).
  • Proven experience in designing and governing end-to-end enterprise architectures across Infrastructure, Applications, Data, and Security domains.
  • Demonstrable expertise with TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework), ideally certified (TOGAF 9 or 10 certification highly desirable).

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations applicable to FSI (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001) / MAS frameworks, TRM Guidelines, BCM, Cyber Hygiene, Outsourcing Guidelines, etc., will be a significant advantage.
