Requirements:

· Banking Architecture skills across Retail and Wholesale business domains. This includes, but is not limited to: core banking, payments, trades, cards, branch systems, ATM, Loyalty, internet and mobile banking, reporting, and MIS.

· Domain expertise with a strong awareness of front-end and back-end systems and processes.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills for C-level audiences, with the ability to synthesize and simplify technology solutions and challenges.

· Effective communication skills with technology and operations staff.

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

· Solution definition and delivery:

• Assist business users in articulating their requirements in a structured manner.
• Translate business objectives into architectural solutions, covering:
• Business and process architecture
• Technology architecture (application, infrastructure, security)
• Define practical roadmaps considering business, technical, and delivery constraints.
• Identify operational impacts and liaise with operations to define the operating model.
• Address business challenges from technology and operations perspectives, ensuring solutions address issues across all impacted units.
• Improve existing approaches or develop new methods for better outcomes.
• Identify potential problems, assess risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Lead solution work-streams during implementation to maintain solution integrity.
• Manage technology roadmaps post-project initiation, monitor deviations, and plan remediation with project teams.

· Stakeholder relationship management:

• Serve as the main contact for domain-specific improvements and challenges.
• Support effective business change by building relationships among development, analysis, testing, and operational teams.
• Provide informed advice within domain expertise to enhance activity effectiveness.
• Anticipate customer needs, respond promptly to inquiries, and ensure resolution or satisfaction.

Technical Skills:

· Knowledge of heterogeneous technology platforms such as AS400, Mainframe, open systems (Unix, Java, Microsoft), MQ.
