Job summary

Salesforce AI Research Labs is seeking entrepreneurial Research Scientists to build, ship, and scale the next generation of Enterprise AI in Singapore. You’ll identify high-impact research directions, prototype cutting-edge capabilities, validate ideas with customers, and turn strongest concepts into production-ready solutions.

You will have the freedom to propose new ideas, access Salesforce’s global ecosystem, and validate innovations with external and internal customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field.
• Publication record in top AI venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, CVPR, ECCV, ICCV)
• Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages (C/C++, Python)
• Experience with deep learning libraries/platforms (TensorFlow, JAX, PyTorch)
• Experience with Python and modern deep learning frameworks
• Proven ability to implement, operate, and deliver results via innovation at large scale
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and translate ideas into impactful systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and pursue ambitious, long-term research goals.
• Develop solutions for real-world, large-scale problems.
• Lead teams (as needed) to deliver on complex research projects.
• Identify research directions with potential to transform Enterprise AI.
• Turn promising ideas into zero-to-one AI product prototypes.
• Work directly with customers to validate needs, test solutions, and refine direction.
• Build robust models, agents, and AI systems for real-world enterprise use.
• Partner with product, engineering, and GTM teams to bring solutions to market.
