Job summary

MCI CAREER SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced inpatient nurse in a central Singapore location. You will provide safe, competent and patient-centred nursing care, monitor patients, administer medications and support care plans under supervision where required.

You will communicate with patients and families, participate in a multidisciplinary team, assist with palliative care, and maintain thorough documentation while upholding confidentiality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Provide safe, competent and individualised nursing care.
• Assess and monitor patients, provide treatments and follow up on care plans and continuity of care.
• Perform nursing procedures including medication administration (oral/IM/SC), IV changes, cannula removal and wound dressings.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and caregivers; liaise with physicians and the MDT.
• Assist with palliative care and ensure patient safety and a conducive care environment.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation, records and data, while ensuring confidentiality.
• Manage and ensure proper use of medications, medical supplies, equipment and consumables.
• Support and guide Patient Care Assistants in patient care and management.
• Keep updated on industry practices and nursing skills, and contribute to continuous improvement in the workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
