Job Description

We're hiring a full-time English Teacher to join a reputable enrichment centre in Singapore. You’ll be teaching Primary and Secondary students in small-group settings, using structured MOE-aligned materials and creative writing techniques.

This is a classroom-based teaching role with curriculum support, professional training, and close engagement with parents.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct 10–12 English classes/week (2 hours per class)
  • Teach both academic English and creative writing
  • Deliver lessons aligned to MOE syllabus for Primary & Secondary students
  • Adapt lesson materials as needed
  • Partner with parents to support learning outcomes
Working Hours
  • Approx. 44-hour work week across 5 working days
  • Typically 1–2 classes/day from Tues to Thurs; up to 3 on Fridays/weekends (4 max, rarely)
  • 15-minute breaks between back-to-back classes; longer meal breaks built in
  • Most teachers are rostered to rest on Monday and Saturday , though off days may vary
  • Selected weekday mornings may be WFH for marking/admin work

Mon – Off
Tues – 2 classes
Wed – 1 class
Thurs – 2 classes
Fri – 2 classes
Sat – Off
Sun – 3 classes
Total: 10 classes

Who We’re Looking For
  • Degree holders preferred with relevant teaching-related backgrounds
  • Prior classroom experience (enrichment, tuition, or school)
  • Confident managing group-based classroom teaching (beyond 1-to-1 settings)
  • Physically and mentally ready for back-to-back teaching
  • Able to commit through to end-2026
Salary & Terms
  • $3,800 – $4,200/month (based on experience and fit)

  • New hires undergo 4–6 weeks of training before taking over classes
  • Teaching load runs from mid-year through to early December
Work Location

Teachers are based at one assigned centre, with occasional rotation for weekend coverage.
