Job summary

A leading education company in Singapore is seeking an English Teacher to develop and enhance the English curriculum according to MOE/CEFR guidelines. This role involves mentoring fellow teachers, ensuring high teaching standards, and monitoring student progress to implement effective strategies. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant Bachelor's Degree and possess at least 3 years of teaching experience in English.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Singapore’s education system preferred.

Salary: $3000 - $4000

Working Hours: 9am - 6pm (Mon to Fri)

Location : Woodlands

Job Scope:

• Develop, review, and enhance the English curriculum in accordance with MOE/CEFR guidelines.
• Ensure high teaching standards and consistency across all English programmes.
• Mentor and guide English teachers to improve instructional practices and student outcomes.
• Monitor and assess student progress and implement strategies for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Education, or related field
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in English
• Excellent knowledge of English grammar, phonics, writing, and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of curriculum development and student learning assessment.
• Familiarity with Singapore’s education system (MOE, PSLE, O-Level, etc.) is preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
