[Who Will Be The Right Fit For This Opportunity]

You will be a great fit for this opportunity if you:

• Hold a Diploma or Degree Holder in related fields of Law, Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and Communications (other subject specialisation may be considered on an exceptional basis)

• Demonstrate an excellent academic track record, especially in English, English Literature, and General Paper (GP)

• Are passionate about teaching the English Language and/ or General Paper

• Are sincere in supporting students wholeheartedly to achieve their fullest potential

• Are willing to adopt EduEdge’s ethos and teaching methodology

• Are willing to develop teaching skills and attributes to effectively support students of all learning abilities and grade levels

• Are able to work at least 2 weekdays and 2 weekends

Key requirements:

• Good credit in GCE O-Level English (A1 / A2) or GCE A-Level General Paper (B) / IB equivalent subject

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office / G Suite applications

• Strong work ethic and commitment to Excellence

What you will be involved with:

• Delivering Engaging and Effective Lessons using EduEdge’s proprietary teaching methodologies.

• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to enhance their language skills.

• Develop effective and engaging curriculum materials to cater to students’ needs, interests and learning styles.

• Maintain a positive and conducive classroom environment that fosters learning and discipline.

• Build rapport and establish positive relationships with students and their parents / guardians.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development programmes to stay abreast of the latest education trends and technologies.

• Collaborate with colleagues and share best practices to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.

Schedule:

As a forward-thinking organisation, we believe that productivity is not about clocking hours in the office. We offer a semi-flexi arrangement based upon mutual understanding and trust with our staff to encourage their peak performance.

Teachers can choose where, how and when they would like to work so long as they are on task, on time and on target.

This means you are required to be in the office only when you have classes or to attend meetings and training.

• Up to 10 classes per week (versus industry average: 14 to 16 classes)

• 4.5-Day Week with Company Meetings, Trainings or Team Bonding Events on selected Wednesdays
