Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. in Singapore (Tuas) is seeking a plant operator. The role requires a NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field, and basic computer skills.

You may be required to work overtime and shifts. A transport allowance of $120 is provided if you travel to work on your own. Basic salary ranges from $1,900 to $2,700, with overtime and shift allowances. You will assist in plant operation, sludge pits and weight bridge activities, monitor

Qualifications

NITEC or diploma in chemical engineering, biotechnology or related field.
Proficient with basic computer applications (MS Office, email, internet research).
Willing to work overtime and shifts.

Responsibilities

Assist supervisor in plant operation, sludge pit and weight bridge activities.
Assist in maximizing treatment quantity of DWS and DS safely.
Minimize utilities consumption such as PNG, caustic soda, new water, electricity and lime.
Monitor DWS and DS hopper levels to prevent unnecessary shutdowns and coordinate with crane operator if levels are low.
Check dried sludge condition every two hours and balance/adjust DWS & DS feedings to achieve desired incinerator and sludge dryer outlet temperature.
Ensure sludge transfer pump is in good condition at all times.
Assist during plant maintenance shutdown.
Carry out simple troubleshooting.
Patrol, monitor and feedback any abnormalities.
Adhere to all EHS rules and maintain good housekeeping.
