Job summary

Qualcomm Global Trading Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Engineering Technician to support Test floor and laboratories. The candidate should have exposure to a Test Semiconductor Manufacturing Environment with at least 2 years’ experience and hands-on work on Advantest or Teradyne testers, handlers, and probers.

Strong troubleshooting and the ability to generate clear reports are required, along with good communication with engineers. Training and safety procedures will be observed on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering with exposure to test semiconductor manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a test semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with ATE platforms such as Advantest and Teradyne.

Responsibilities

• Line sustaining support on Test floor and Engineering Laboratory.
• Assist in testing devices/wafers per Test Engineers' instructions and maintain equipment PM/cal.
• Reconfigure instruments and swap boards to meet specific test requirements; debug test and bench hardware.

General Summary:

We are looking for Engineering Technician who will be able to support our Tesfloor and labs. The candidate should have exposure in Test Semiconductor Manufacturing Environment with at least 2 years experience working on different ATE platforms. Experience in troubleshooting and ability to resolve test setup is required. The candidate should have at least hands-on experience on any of the following Test Equipment: Advantest and Teradyne testers, handlers, and probers.

A good communication skill is required as the job will require communicating with Engineers and generating reports.

Responsibilities:

The position will call for Line sustaining support in both Test floor and Engineering Laboratory. The support will include providing assistance in testing devices/wafers based on the instructions from Test Engineers, maintaining equipment in tiptop condition by ensuring proper PM/Cal is being done, supporting test and bench setup which may require re-configuring the instruments and swapping/replacing boards to suit a particular requirement, and debugging test and bench hardware. Specific assignment will be given as additional responsibility.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering preferably Electrical/electromechanical Engineering Minimum of 2 years' experience in Test Semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's degree.

• High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of Engineering Technician or related work experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently transports and installs equipment weighing at least 25 lbs.
