Job description

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our production and development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, assembly, testing, and support of wire harnesses and electromechanical components, while contributing to new product development and continuous improvement efforts. This is a dynamic role requiring technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude.

Job Description:

  • Review and Study customer's specifications and drawings
  • Set up machines and create samples
  • Update sample making records
  • Assist in new product development
  • Create and maintain jigs and fixtures
  • Assembly of wire harness and Electromechanical parts
  • Set up and operate production machines, equipment, instrument in accordance with good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures
  • Monitor, calibrate and adjust production processes or machines, equipment, instrument for quality and productivity
  • Troubleshoot problems with machines, equipment, instrument or products
  • Developing, building, or testing prototypes or new products, processes, or procedures
  • Keep proper records, maintain and ensure serviceability of machines, equipment, instrument and tools
  • Initiate the design of Jigs & Fixtures to improve processes, quality and productivity
  • Assembly of wire harness and electromechanical parts
  • Review and study customer's specifications and technical drawings
  • Set up machines and create samples
  • Update sample making records
  • Assist in new product development and define production process flow
  • Create and maintain jigs and fixtures
  • Assembly of wire harness and electromechanical parts
  • Provide on-site installation and support to customers for Electromechanical and Electrical wiring systems
  • Any other duties assigned from time to time

Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualification Level: Nitec, Certificate in Office Skills, NTC Grade 2 or equivalent
  • Working experience in manufacturing of electromechanical assemblies is advantageous
  • Able to interpret mechanical drawing and electrical schematic
  • Able to carry out trouble shooting and minor repairs
  • Positive and willing to learn attitude, possess high level of initiative
