Job summary

AMD in Singapore is seeking a Senior Technician to assist engineers in DOEs and implement engineering solutions for continuous improvement of lab equipment, aiming to improve quality and cycle times for engineering qualification activities schedules.

The candidate should be motivated with strong communication skills, a team player who can work with the lab team to deliver results and support production goals.

• Provide basic and higher technical level of debug via root cause analysis in resolving test related issues / provide input to improve equipment consistency to achieve production goals and objectives.
• Document test results and generate result/report timely.
• Verification of all engineering work order and release of work orders to the lab.
• Execute engineering evaluation of equipment upgrades/enhancements and lab equipment maintenance activities per engineering request/procedure.

THE ROLE:

To assist engineers in executions of DOEs, implementing engineering solutions for continuous improvement on Lab equipment, to achieve quality and cycle time to meeting engineering qualification activities schedules.

THE PERSON:

The candidate should be motivated and have good communication skills. He/She is also preferred to team player to work with the team to deliver results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide basic and higher technical level of debug via root cause analysis in resolving test related issues / provide input to improve equipment consistency to achieve production goals and objectives.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Understanding of semiconductor testing.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering (minimum 3 years for Senior Technician and above related working experience). Or
• NITEC in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering with minimum 3 years related working experience.
