Job summary

RTX, Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, is seeking an onsite engineer with an Engineering Diploma (Mechanical/Aeronautical/Aerospace) and 3+ years of experience. You will support data-driven repair processes, cost-reduction initiatives, and process improvements in a collaborative team environment.

You will work with MS Office, MS Project, MS Power BI, Minitab, and potentially CMM/CNC programming to optimize repair methods and maintain standard work, while complying with EH&S and global trade

Qualifications

• Engineering Diploma in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Aerospace with at least 3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of aero-component repair processes is a plus.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of MS Project, MS Power BI, Minitab, or CMM/CNC programming is advantageous.

What You Will Do

• Assist in the preparation and implementation of Approved Technical Data flow-down

• Support data collection and assist PMEs with data analysis for yield-improvement projects

• Support cost-reduction, process-efficiency, and material-usage-reduction initiatives

• Perform responsibilities in compliance with the RTX EH&S Policy, Code of Conduct, and Global Trade Compliance at all times

Qualifications You Must Have

• Engineering Diploma (Mechanical/Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering) with a minimum of 3 years of working experience preferred

• Knowledge of aero-component repair processes will be an added advantage

• Good problem-solving, analytical, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills

• A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills

• Good working knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
