A leading Food and Beverage Company in Singapore is seeking an Electro-mechanical Technician to assist in projects and maintenance for production plant equipment. The role involves routine maintenance, repair, calibration of instruments, and troubleshooting. Candidates should have a Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in welding is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
  • Understanding of PLC programs.
  • 2 years of experience in electrical installation and servicing.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine Maintenance & Improvement for plant equipment, lighting, and power.
  • Calibrate, maintain and repair pneumatic and electronic instruments.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.

Skills

Roles & Responsibilities

The Electro‑mechanical Technician assist and support the Electrical & Automation Engineer in projects as well as Maintenance & Improvement works for Production Plant Equipment as well as lighting & power installation in the factory.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine Maintenance & Improvement (M&I) for plant equipment, lighting, and power installation.
  • Carry out repair and improvement work as required.
  • Calibrate, maintain and repair of pneumatic and electronic instruments.
  • Carry out bench fitting jobs.
  • Update schematic, single line diagrams and programme as necessary.
  • Ensure that all tools and test instruments are in good condition.
  • Ensure smooth operation of plant equipment and carry out trouble‑shooting related to equipment malfunction.
  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
What Will Make You Successful
  • Proficient in workshop practice.
  • Basic skill in the service and operation of hydraulic and pneumatic system.
  • Proficiency in Welding Arc & Tig Welding is a bonus.
  • Diploma in Electrical, Electronic Engineering.
  • Able to read technical drawings, electrical diagrams and understand PLC programme
  • NTC-2 Electrical Installation + Servicing with 2-year experience.
