Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and oversee workshop maintenance for combustion engine/electric Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and airport vehicles, ensuring high availability, quality, safety, and compliance within budget.
  • Manage work orders, spares usage, and production via WIAM (asset management system). Coordinate maintenance schedules to meet internal and regulatory inspection requirements.
  • Lead and supervise assistant engineers, technicians, and outsourced contractors, including shift planning and resource allocation. Improve workbay capabilities and promote continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Serve as technical SME for fleet maintenance, troubleshooting complex defects, conducting root cause analysis, and preparing investigation reports. Define technical specifications for required items/services.
  • Conduct and assist in designing training programs, guiding staff to ensure quality maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate fleet records and data, analyze performance to enhance maintenance outcomes and fleet efficiency.
  • Be prepared to serve as Engineering Supervisor in-charge or cover for Maintenance Engineer as needed.

Key Requirements

  • Diploma or relevant engineering qualification with technical and management experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience; lesser experience candidates may be considered for Assistant Engineer roles.
  • Technical disciplines in Electric, Mechanical, Automotive, or Industrial Engineering are applicable.
  • Ability to lead a multicultural technical team.
  • Service-oriented, technically proficient, and willing to undergo training on new equipment, including electric variants.
  • Availability to work occasional weekends/public holidays as required.
  • Possession of a Class 3 driving license.
