Job summary

A leading company in the dairy industry is seeking an Engineering Supervisor who will oversee a team of engineering technicians for maintenance and improvement of facility operations. The role includes critical responsibilities such as leading repairs, ordering spare parts, and ensuring safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and strong hands-on skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on skills required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous.

• Lead, train, and supervise a team of engineering technicians.
• Manage breakdown, repair, and maintenance for utility services and equipment.
• Ensure safety and documentation of spare parts.

Job description

· Report to the Senior Facility Engineer/Engineer

· Lead, train and supervise a team of engineering technicians to undertake:

1. Breakdown, repair and modification work for all utilities services, facility equipment (such as boiler, air compressor, ammonia chiller, cold room, air con, waste water treatment plant, cooling towers, etc …) and factory buildings.
2. New equipment installation works.
3. Engineering modification works.
4. Preventive maintenance works.
5. Weekend works

· Take charge of the engineering store and ensure that all movements of spare parts are properly documented

· Ordering of spare parts

· Supervising of contractor’s work

· Monitor and control overtime of the workers

· Ensure the safety of his subordinates

Requirement

· Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

· Strong hands-on skills

· Having basic mechanical knowledge would be advantageous
