Our client is seeking an Engineering Specialist to join their team!

About Our Client

Our client is a leading provider of medical equipment, supplies, and services across Asia. With an extensive distribution network spanning government and private hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and nursing homes, join a company at the forefront of healthcare innovation and expansion in the region.

What you'll be doing?

1. Service and maintenance: Carry out warranty, preventive, and breakdown service jobs, ensuring medical equipment is in top condition.
2. Preventive care: Schedule and perform preventive maintenance, coordinating efficiently with customers.
3. Rapid response: Meet organizational goals by delivering service within 72 hours, excluding weekends and public holidays.
4. Detailed record-keeping: Maintain accurate equipment history records and update the Service Operations Management system in real-time.
5. Customer coordination: Prepare job sheets, seek customer approvals, and coordinate with SOM for invoicing and spare parts.
6. Quality assurance: Familiarize yourself with ISO procedures and risk management processes, ensuring compliance at all times.
7. Continuous improvement: Attend training sessions and contribute feedback to manufacturers for product enhancement.
8. Knowledge sharing: Conduct cross-training for other engineers and organize training for biomedical engineering departments.

Who are they looking for?

1. Educational background: Hold a Bachelor's in Information Technology, Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, or Diploma in Computer Science.
2. Relevant experience: Have at least 2 years of working experience in a hospital environment or engineering consultancy firm.
3. Technical expertise: Possess strong engineering and IT knowledge to tackle complex equipment issues.
4. Mobility: Own a personal vehicle and be willing to travel outstation or overseas when required.
5. Personal attributes: Demonstrate a positive, proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask.
6. Team player: Work effectively in a team, openly share ideas, and contribute meaningfully to projects.
