Job description

Job Description

  1. To assist in ongoing projects and maintenance of equipment.
  2. Carry out all warranty, preventive maintenance, & breakdown service jobs assigned.
  3. Testing and commissioning of equipment.
  4. Pre-delivery checks and assembly of equipment.
  5. Co-ordinate with customers for all repairs, quotations for repair, and spare parts.
  6. Meeting organization goal to turnaround within 4 - 10 hours on site during office hours on weekdays.
  7. Able to work independently in a hospital environment and, as required, perform duty after office hours.
  8. Familiarize with relevant local regulatory standards such as Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSH Act) and ensure compliance.
  9. Familiarize with the relevant GDPMD / ISO procedures & always operate within the guidelines.
  10. Prepare job sheets, seek customer approval/confirmation, and co-ordinate with SOM to invoice with correct spare parts.
  11. Ensure timely job sheet closure to speed up billing processes to reduce AR & inventory holding.
  12. Familiarize with all risk management processes and ensure compliance on site.
  13. Responsible to do it right the first time and be aligned to aim for zero complaints.
  14. Attend all training or re-training identified and contribute to continual improvement by giving constructive feedback to the manufacturer.
  15. Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by immediate superior or management.

Job Requirements

  1. Min. Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Biomedical Engineering.
  2. Min. 1 year of working experience, preferably in a hospital environment or engineering consultancy firm.
  3. Strong engineering knowledge.
  4. Positive attitude with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Customer focus & excellent execution.
  7. Able to travel outstation or overseas when required.
  8. Fluent in English.
