Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all engineering activities across disciplines (Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil) for onshore EPC projects.
- Develop and implement the Project Engineering Plan and ensure compliance with cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Act as the main technical liaison between the client, subcontractors, vendors, and internal engineering teams.
- Participate in HAZOP, SIL, constructability, and safety reviews.
- Review and approve design deliverables and technical documents from both internal teams and High-Value Engineering Centers (HVECs).
- Resolve inter-discipline design issues and provide guidance on technical decisions.
- Support procurement through technical evaluations of vendor proposals.
- Provide engineering support during construction and commissioning phases.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of engineering experience in EPC projects, preferably in the oil & gas or process industry.
- At least 5 years in a technical leadership or Engineering Manager role.
- Strong understanding of engineering integration across disciplines.
- Experience with client and vendor coordination, and leading technical reviews (e.g. HAZOP, SIL).
- Familiar with international engineering codes and standards (API, ASME, IEC, etc.).
Educational & Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (any discipline).
- Prior experience in refinery, chemical plant, or large-scale process plant projects preferred.
- Singaporeans, PRs, or LTVP holders with PLOC only (no work pass quota available).
