Engineering Manager

Join a leading Technology company in this newly created Technical Lead role. Oversee and lead a team of in-house developers as well as vendors.

Your new role:

1. Oversee and guide a development team in creating, building, and deploying software applications.

2. Partner with various departments to identify product requirements and convert them into actionable technical specifications.

3. Ensure high-quality code through regular code reviews, test automation, and the sharing of best practices.

4. Mentor the development team through coaching, conducting interviews, performance evaluations, and creating training programs.

5. Oversee and prioritize the development task backlog, ensuring projects are delivered within set timelines.

What you will need:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting web applications.

3. At least 3 years of experience in leading teams.

4. Sound technical knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, and others.

5. Expertise in coding in Java, RESTful APIs, and React.

6. Solid understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases (document-based, key-value).

7. Familiar with best practices in development, such as code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
