Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead engineering teams across Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, and Structural disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Define and implement engineering execution strategies and project engineering plans in accordance with contractual, regulatory, and technical requirements.
  • Ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables and integration with procurement, construction, and commissioning functions.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and high-value engineering centers (HVECs).
  • Chair and participate in key technical reviews (HAZOP, SIL, 3D Model Reviews, Constructability, etc.).
  • Approve critical design documentation, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, IEC, ISO).
  • Monitor progress against engineering schedules and budgets; identify and manage deviations or scope changes.
  • Support procurement and construction with technical bid evaluations, vendor document reviews, and resolution of field engineering issues.
  • Promote a culture of safety and engineering excellence, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related discipline); Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum 15 years of engineering experience in EPC projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership or Engineering Manager capacity.
  • Strong technical background with a proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and engineering interfaces.
  • Extensive knowledge of engineering codes, standards, and best practices applicable to the Oil & Gas or Process sectors.
  • Experience working with international clients and joint ventures is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Willingness to travel or be based on-site as required by project demands.
