A fast-scaling digital business is searching for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop high-performing engineering teams. This role involves translating business strategies into actionable plans, ensuring timely software delivery, and advocating engineering best practices, all while working within a hybrid environment.
Lead, mentor, and grow a talented engineering team—providing technical direction, career development, and regular feedback.
Translate strategic business goals into actionable engineering plans and product roadmaps.
Ensure timely delivery of robust, maintainable software using Agile methodologies.
Champion engineering best practices across code quality, testing, scalability, and architecture.
Drive process improvements, identifying and addressing delivery bottlenecks.
3+ years of engineering leadership experience managing teams of 3+ engineers.
Solid full-stack development experience—especially with JavaScript/TypeScript, React (Hooks), Node.js (Koa/Express), and PostgreSQL.
Deep understanding of modular system architecture, microservices, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
Proven expertise in designing RESTful and WebSocket APIs, and applying HTTP and security best practices.
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, SQS/SNS, RDS, S3, IAM, and others.
Salary up to SGD 180,000 per annum (negotiable)
