Job summary

sggovterp’s School of Engineering is hiring a Lecturer in Business Process & Engineering Management to develop curricula, mentor students and lead applied projects across operations, industrial engineering and supply chain disciplines. Qualifications

• Qualification in Industrial and Systems Engineering / Operations Management / Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Engineering / Business / IT / Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience in large-scale business operations and systems automation for productivity improvements and resource management.
• Experience in business data analytics, business process optimisation and decision analysis.
• Strong industry linkages in related fields.
• Familiar with IoT, lean six sigma, human factors, sustainability, operations research and simulation, quality and reliability engineering, and additive manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate student learning, develop curricula and participate in development projects in Business Operations, Industrial Engineering and Supply Chain Management related areas.
• Develop and conduct Continuing Education and Training (CET) lessons.
• Initiate and take part in academic research projects, R&D/Implementation projects or consultancy to the industry.
• Undertake other administrative work related to the programme and student development activities.
• Mentor and motivate students, supervise final year projects and competitions, organise internships and service learning.
