Responsibility
- Monitoring of system health in OCC (Operation Control Centre).
- Raising Work Requests in the MMS for all failures.
- Liaising between OCC and O&M teams to recover the affected system.
- Assisting OCC in the management of failures.
- Coordinating with Maintenance Engineering Centre (MEC) during incidents.
- Provide guidance to OCC during incidents.
- Reports to Chief Controller while on duty.
- Monitors and manages fault occurrences and engineering work activities for the mainline and depot.
- In the event of a fault that affects safety and/or operations, dispatches O&M staff to attend to the fault immediately
- Provides cover to the Maintenance Engineering Centre (MEC) team, when need arises.
- Develops procedures of normal operation, post investigation and incident management in Maintenance Control section.
- Develops reports for routine operation in OCC relating to reliability and performance.
- Responds to any incident upon activation by Engineering or/and Rail Engineering & Performance Division/Department heads.
- Any other tasks assigned by superior.
Requirements
- Polytechnic Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Preferably 1 years of Railway experience
- Strong planning, organisation, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fresh Graduates may apply
- Knowledge of computer hardware or/and software applications.
- Ability to identify colours
- Ability to perform 3 rotating shift
