Job description

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support our food production process & perform equipment preventive maintenance.

  • Duties include repair of machinery, plumbing, heating, inspecting the processing equipment to confirm operating condition parameters and scheduling of repairs in a timely manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing mechanical and equipment breakdowns and conduct root cause analysis to eliminate the likelihood of reoccurrence.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance work to minimize operational downtime.
  • Support production process line, closely monitoring for breakdowns, promptly repair out of order machines and work with processing, electrical and maintenance team to improve up-time of the production operations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements, safe work practices, PPE, Lock Out Tag Out, and Risk Assessment.

Requirements:

  • ITC/NTC-2/NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronic or equivalent and above
  • Minimum 2- 3 years relevant experience in food production process equipment or other equipment.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities, able to work at hot/warm environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work on rotating shifts and weekends.
