Job Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of multi-disciplinary engineers in undertaking detailed design and tender documentation for the Waste to Energy (WTE) and Sludge Incineration Facility (SIF).
- Evaluating the technical aspects of tenders received by the Client for the construction contracts.
- Direct liaison with Client’s Technical Directors.
- Reviewing and monitoring the Contractor’s design submittals.
- Chairing regular Design Review Coordination Meetings with the Contractors.
- Providing technical support to the Resident Site Staff team during construction, erection, and commissioning phases.
- Ensuring the overall technical accuracy and adequacy of the contractor’s deliverables for their design work.
- Performing any other delegated matters by the PD/PM.
Requirements:
- A Professional Engineer/Chartered Engineer registered in his/her country of practice is preferred.
- Minimum of 20 years of relevant engineering experience in large-scale industrial/utilities projects (e.g., waste, water, oil & gas, power).
- Relevant experience in delivering large-scale solid waste management projects (e.g., waste-to-energy, sludge incineration, materials recovery, food waste treatment).
It will be an added advantage if the individual has:
- Undertaken a similar role in the last 10 years.
- Worked in Singapore previously.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
