Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking an Associate in Global Banking & Markets Engineering Audit. You will assess engineering processes, systems, and controls supporting trading, booking and risk management, with exposure to front-office platforms, data flows, and cloud environments.

The role involves planning, execution, and reporting across regional and global audits, focusing on entitlement, change management, data quality, and automation, while collaborating with global teams to remediate findings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in engineering auditing, risk management, or related fields.
• University degree in CS, engineering, information systems, finance or risk.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of software development, architecture and controls.
• Knowledge of cloud/infrastructure concepts.
• Ability to analyze risks and controls across complex engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Understand business and engineering processes, data flows, and system architecture.
• Identify engineering, data, cyber, operational and regulatory risks.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of controls.
• Review entitlement, change management, incident management, and data quality controls.
• Evaluate risks with cloud platforms and third-party dependencies.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and issues.
• Document work and support conclusions with evidence.
• Communicate observations to stakeholders and support remediation.
• Collaborate with global audit teams.
