Job summary

Goldman Sachs seeks an Analyst/Associate for Global Banking & Markets Engineering Audit. You will assess engineering processes, systems and controls supporting trading, settlement and risk management, working across front-office platforms, data flows and cloud environments.

You will identify control gaps, perform data analysis, and document findings while collaborating with global audit teams to ensure timely remediation and strong governance.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in engineering audit or related roles.
• Degree in CS/Engineering/IT or related field.
• Strong communication skills in writing and speaking.
• Understanding of software development, system architecture and engineering control concepts.
• Knowledge of databases, operating systems, messaging, APIs, cloud concepts.
• Ability to analyze risks and controls across complex engineering environments.
• Interest in financial markets and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assess engineering processes, systems and controls across trading, booking and settlement.
• Review entitlement, change management, incident management and data quality controls.
• Evaluate risks with cloud, third‑party services, automation and AI‑enabled development practices.
• Document audit work and support conclusions with evidence.
• Communicate audit observations and control concerns to stakeholders; support remediation with management.
