We’re looking to add a Engineering Assistant, Manufacturing (Contract 1 Year) in Singapore. The position will be based in our HQ office in Ang Mo Kio.

As an Engineering Assistant, Manufacturing (Contract 1 Year), you will:

Responsible for assisting Engineers in process flow improvement, troubleshooting, maintaining and making engineering improvements to the automation lines.

The key responsibilities are as below:

1. Identify and manage process improvements relating to product quality, cost, cycle time and manufacturing line efficiencies.
2. Analyze, propose and implement corrective action plans to resolve quality issues.
3. Provide line support and optimization of yield improvement plans.
4. Assist in product transfer.
5. Set up BOM, prepare Venture Standard Operating Procedure and Engineering Alert.
6. Conduct training for the Production Associates.
7. Handle tooling, equipment and work cell maintenance.
8. Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Company.

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

1. Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
2. Experience in a highly competitive product manufacturing environment preferred.
3. Understand process control and SPC method.
4. Good analytical skills required.
5. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
