Job summary

A leading company in Singapore seeks a dedicated QA technician with a background in Electronic/Electrical Engineering. The successful applicant will perform critical calibration tasks, assist in data collection, and ensure compliance with quality management standards while collaborating with both internal and external teams.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing/Lab environment advantageous.
  • Possess positive mindset and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Perform verification of correlation standard and calibration of equipment.
  • Assist in data collection and continual improvement projects.
  • Liaise with external service providers on calibration matters.

Job description

Responsibilities :

  • Perform verification of correlation standard and calibration of inspection, measuring and test equipment.

  • Assist in up-keeping the correlation and calibration system.

  • Liaise with Head office on correlation and calibration issues.

  • Assist in data collection.

  • Involve and participate in continual improvement projects.

  • Liaise with external service providers on calibration matters which shall include coordination on the on-site calibration at interplants and working with service providers to resolve technical issues and enquires.

  • Upkeep and improve QA lab systems to ensure compliance to CCI stipulated quality management System standards.

  • Liaise with production on the proving-in of new / revised test software.

  • Update of relevant procedures in the quality management system as deemed necessary.

  • Perform Electrical measurement, Destructive Physical Analysis (DPA), Board Flex test on Critical products and prepare report whenever required.

  • Conduct on-the-job training for trainee(s).

  • Assist superior in performing evaluation whenever required.

  • Observe safety and housekeeping at work area.

  • Assist in managing the distribution of QC standards to interplants.

Requirements :

  • Diploma or Nitec in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing/Lab environment will be advantageous.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

  • Possess positive mind set and willingness to learn.

  • Good Interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Transport pick-up at Bedok MRT station.
