Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Proficiency reading drawings, schematics, and test specs
• Experience with data acquisition systems and test equipment
• Skilled with engineering software and data analysis tools
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork in multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of engine repair processes a plus
• Familiar with NDT, FAA 45/EASA 145 regulations

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to Operations to minimise downtime
• Identify and troubleshoot test cell related issues independently
• Document trending, audit reports, and investigations
• Support test facilities maintenance and calibration activities
• Manage capability setup for new equipment and processes
• Provide technical support to engine correlation activities
• Manage procurement activities and contractor works

About the role

ST Engineering Aerospace Engines Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Engineer, Test Cell to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a full-time position based in the Airport Road East Region. As an Engineer, Test Cell, you will play a critical role in our aerospace engine operations, supporting the test cell environment. This position is essential to maintaining our high standards of quality and safety whilst ensuring efficient engine development and certification processes. You will work within a collaborative technical environment, contributing to the advancement of aerospace engine technology and supporting our commitment to operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to Operations to minimise downtime
• Ability to work independently to identify and troubleshoot test cell related issues
• Handle proper documentation for trending and audit, generate investigation and engineering reports
• Support test facilities maintenance and test cell calibration activities, identify potential problems and carry out preventive actions
• Manage capability setup for new equipment and processes
• Provide technical support to engine correlation activities
• Manage procurement activities and contractor works

What we're looking for

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline within Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and test specifications
• Experience with data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and test monitoring equipment
• Competence in using engineering software and tools for data analysis and reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining strict quality and safety standards
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge in engine repair processes will be an added advantage
• Familiar with NDT requirements and FAA 45/EASA 145 regulations
