Job summary

TUV SUD PSB PTE. LTD. is seeking an Engineering professional to perform electrical product testing and evaluation in line with international and Singapore safety standards.

You will manage test reports, develop lab procedures, and coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery. The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and familiarity with safety standards and reading electrical diagrams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of safety standards (IEC, BS, SS) is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform test & evaluation on electrical products to safety standards.
• Manage execution and timely completion of test reports.
• Review and develop test procedures for lab testing.
• Partner with customers, suppliers & sub-contractors for project execution.
• Collaborate with sales to develop/testing services and support inquiries.
• Communicate with customers on technical issues and project status.
• Maintain and upkeep test facilities and equipment.
• Undertake process improvement projects on testing facilities and services.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform test and evaluation on electrical products such as fixed wiring accessories, switchgears, EV chargers, energy meters, fire alarm systems to various International and Singapore safety standards
• Manage execution and timely completion of projects’ deliveries (test & inspection reports)
• Review and exercise engineering judgement on test standards and develop test procedures / protocols for laboratory testing
• Partner with customers, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure smooth and timely execution of projects
• Work with business and sales teams to develop and commercialize new testing services, build technical capabilities, and provide technical support for sales enquiries
• Communicate with customers on technical issues, project status and clarify requirements
• Maintain and upkeep test facilities and equipment
• Undertaking process improvement projects on testing facilities and services

Key Requirements

• Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or its equivalent
• Candidates with relevant knowledge in safety standards (IEC, BS, SS etc.)will be an added advantage
• Candidate with relevant experience in reading and understanding electrical diagrams and electronic schematics
