Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Capital Planning & Finance Analyst to support site capital budgeting, ROI analyses, and governance.

You will partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Facilities to drive capital efficiency and strategic investments. You will develop dashboards, consolidate data from multiple systems, and leverage AI-enabled tools to improve planning accuracy and decision-making.

Responsibilities

Capital Planning & Budget Management

• Support site capital budgeting, funding requests, and portfolio reviews.
• Analyze CAPEX requirements and develop recommendations to improve return on investment.
• Monitor capital spending, forecast cash flow, and identify risks/opportunities.

Asset Reuse & Capital Efficiency

• Drive reuse opportunities across workstations, departments, and sites.
• Analyze excess assets and develop redeployment strategies.
• Support asset lifecycle management to maximize capital utilization.

Financial & Business Analysis

• Perform ROI, NPV, payback, and cost-benefit analyses for investment proposals.
• Develop executive-level summaries and recommendations.
• Support depreciation forecasting and capital performance tracking.

Data Analytics & Reporting

• Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to support decision-making.
• Consolidate data from multiple systems to provide actionable insights.
• Leverage automation and AI tools to improve planning efficiency.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Procurement, and Facilities teams.
• Facilitate funding reviews, capital governance forums, and alignment sessions.
• Present findings and recommendations to site leadership.

Continuous Improvement

• Improve capital planning processes, governance, and business workflows.
• Drive standardization and automation of recurring planning activities.
• Support strategic initiatives related to factory expansion, technology transitions, and cost reduction programs.

AI Responsibilities:

• Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements
• Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
