Job description

Team Mission

• Manage existing PV systems to perform at their best

• Manage monitoring configuration and new sites handover from project team.

• Lead local O&M execution and support contractor management.
  

Job Details

• Conduct daily performance monitoring and analysis of PV systems using remote monitoring platforms.

• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with O&M contractors and service providers.

• Support or lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities performed by third-party contractors, ensuring safety and quality compliance.

• Assist with or oversee the technical handover of new systems from the project team, including monitoring setup, documentation review, and performance benchmarking.

• Analyze system KPIs such as availability, PR (Performance Ratio), and energy yield.

• Initiate and implement performance improvement plans for sites performing below expectations.

• Review O&M documentation, reports, and contractor invoices; maintain accurate records.

• Manage work permit approvals and ensure compliance with safety requirements at customer sites.

• Prepare or contribute to periodic asset performance reports and improvement recommendations.

• Ensure all O&M activities comply with local regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.

• Travel to project sites as required for inspections, troubleshooting, or issue resolution.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering , Renewable Energy Engineering , or other Engineering fields as training will be provided.

• Open to fresh graduates with relevant academic background and interest in solar PV systems.

• For Senior Engineer level: 5 years of experience in solar PV operations and maintenance

• Strong knowledge of PV systems, electrical troubleshooting, and performance optimization techniques.

• Hands-on experience with solar monitoring systems

• Proven ability to manage contractors and coordinate site activities independently.

• Strong analytical and reporting skills; attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).

• Based in Singapore with willingness to travel locally to project sites as required .

• Familiarity with Singapore’s workplace safety regulations and permit requirements.
