Job description

What the role is:

You will serve as a Project Engineer / Civil Engineer, involving project management and contract administration, including overseeing consultants, in the implementation of flow diversion and demolition of pumping installations under the Deep Tunnel Sewerage System Phase 2 (DTSS 2) Project.

What you will be working on:

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Managing contracts to ensure safe completion of the project within cost and time, and in compliance with tender specifications.
2. Working with consultants to oversee contractors in the implementation of DTSS2 flow diversion and demolition works.
3. Contract management tasks such as verifying and processing progress payments, monitoring budgets, and evaluating variation proposals.
4. Checking contractors’ submissions to ensure compliance with specifications.
5. Site coordination, including planning and coordinating multiple contracts with concurrent work on site.
6. Preparing and presenting progress reports to management.
7. Liaising with PUB counterparts, consultants, and relevant authorities.

What we are looking for:

• A Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Candidates with relevant experience are preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Note: Candidates may be considered for contract renewal upon completion of the initial contract.

The officer will be based at PUB Waterhub, 80 Toh Guan Road East, Singapore 608575.
