What the role is:

We seek driven individuals to join DSTA, where you will design, develop, integrate, test and operationalise large scale complex networked (i.e. System-of-Systems) capabilities with game changing technologies for national security. Examples include:- Delivering advanced communications capabilities connecting all echelons of the Armed Forces in the Multi-Domain Air-Land-Sea battlespace for pervasive situation picture and timely command and control- Leveraging emerging commercial technologies such as 5G technologies for use on the tactical battlefield- Ensuring secure and robust data transmissions between systems

What you will be working on:

You will work in a cross-disciplinary team of engineers with experienced mentors, and hone your knowledge of Communications to:- Deploy the next-generation communication systems to facilitate networked and coordinated operations- Develop, test, and deliver game-changing engineering solutions- Architect and integrate best-of-breed systems and platforms worldwide to deliver cohesive System-of Systems capabilities- Experiment and evaluate new technologies for operationalisation- Ensure products meet the highest standards of performance, safety and reliability- Collaborate and co-develop technologies with leading organisations, companies and research institutions from both Singapore and internationally- Manage and improve the systems to meet operational requirements

What we are looking for:

- Tertiary qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering- Proficiency in Digital Signal Processing, Satellite Communications and Computer Networking is advantageous- Innovative and willing to learn new skills and expand into exciting new tech domains- Dynamic personality with good interpersonal skills; self-driven with a can-do spirit- Willing to travel for overseas work trips
