Job summary

WuXi AppTec in Singapore seeks a Calibration Specialist to manage instrument calibration programs in line with regulatory and internal SOPs. You will prepare annual budgets, maintain calibration logs, and ensure timely documentation.

The role requires coordinating with China HQ in English and Mandarin, and maintaining quality records across the metrology framework. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in instrumentation or automation, at least 1 year of calibration experience, and may hold

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in instrumentation, automation or related majors.
• Familiar with national metrology management regulations.
• Good command of English; Mandarin for China HQ communication.
• Minimum 1 year calibration experience.
• Holding metrological calibrator certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration management of instruments according to regulations and internal procedures.
• Prepare the annual cost budget and manage instrument ledger.
• Complete internal calibration on schedule and maintain related records.
• Review, register and file documents ensuring timely, accurate records.
• Establish and optimize operation processes and train staff.

Job description

• Perform calibration management of instruments in accordance with regulations and internal procedures to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the measuring instruments in use;
• Responsible for preparing the annual cost budget;
• Responsible for completing the internal calibration of the instrument on schedule, making corresponding records, and approving the internal calibration report;
• Responsible for summarizing and drawing up the measuring instruments ledger and keeping the ledger updated in time;
• Review, register and file the relevant documents to ensure the timely, accurate and complete records.
• Responsible for the monthly check summary;
• Responsible for reviewing, applying for purchase and acceptance of corresponding measuring instruments;
• Complete all kinds of annual safety quality indicators issued by the department;
• Establish and optimize the relevant operation process, train and ensure strict implementation, report problems in time and take the initiative to solve them.
• Complete the assigned tasks and delegated duties related to their own duties.
